- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Attended A& E department at James Cook Hospital, on 1st November with my wife who is suffering with a very painful twisted knee. We were treated with very friendly and professional service throughout our visit. The receptionist was friendly and efficient, taking all the relevant information . The waiting room was quite busy with a steady stream of patients but we were seen by a sympathetic doctor pretty quickly. In the X ray department, again we were treated with respectful good humour and were passed back to the doctor without any delay. The doctor diagnosed a problem with the cartilage in the knee and a very friendly nurse applied a splint to the leg/ knee. The whole visit from start to finish took less than two hours.
